This is popular for knitting socks, gloves, or baby items, as the stripes magically appear as you use the yarn.
This lesson explains how most of the work is in the preparation, and then goes on to show how to use some previous dyeing methods on the prepared yarn.
You can include blended colours, speckles, and other painted effects to create really stunning stripy yarn.
Before November 2024, the box 10 lesson was on dyeing weld. If you had the weld lesson, then you won’t have had this new version, creating self-striping yarn.
